MR. FLAKS LETTERING SEMINAR

Mr. Flaks is a respected artist in the “New School” of tattooing, pushing the envelope of lettering and black and grey genres with edgy visuals and G-ed out fontography. Closing in on one decade of experience, Mr. Flaks has earned his stripes tattooing household names and underground personalities alike, including Strong Arm Steady artist Mitchy Slick, Wrongkind Records Ise B, Gangsta E, Ryan McNeil of the San Diego Chargers, Ryan Smith of Sullen World Famous Tattoo Artist Big Gus, Johnny Quintana, Skateboard legends Jay Adams and Dennis Martinez just to name a few. Mr. Flaks is also making inroads into the clothing industry, applying his unique style to a wide array of clothing by brands such as Sullen, Tribal and Osiris. Be on the lookout for his upcoming lettering book, “West Coast Guide to Lettering and Lifestyle” Available soon. All attendees will receive a free sample lettering packet.

Q. &  A.’s:

 

Q: How will I know what’s available?

A: Flash will be available the day of event. Each artist will have their own flash to choose from.

 

Q: Can I get more than one?

A: Yes, it is actually encouraged to get as many as you like.

 

Q: Are appointments available?

A: This is a first come first serve event. Each Artist will have a max. The only way to make an appointment is by, coming early in person, choosing and paying for your tattoo. You can come back 15 min before appointment time. (Appointment will be pushed back if not on time.)

 

Q: Can I make any changes to design?

A: No changes to size or shape of design.

 

Q: What size are the tattoos?

A: Tattoos will vary in size and shape. $14 tattoos will be charms, approx the size of a quarter. $80 tattoos are palm size.

 

Suggestions: Get to event as early as you can. Clear some Karma and tip your Artists. No children. No whining or crying.
